Drumboe wood offers a relaxing riverside walk, on which you pass the ruins of the old Drumboe Castle. Coilte, the national forestry authority, have taken great care of this beautiful natural amenity.
Trusk Lough:
Trusk Lough boasts its own shore walk round the Lough and also its gravel path walk, which suits all abilities from a short stroll to a grand 4-hour hike! Trusk Lough is only 10 minutes from the centre of town and all information and maps are available at the tourist office.
Golfing:
The Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Course is a pleasure for the visiting golfer. After conquering the course and enjoying the clubhouse facilities, you may wish to visit the nearby courses. The scenic golf course is a pleasure for professionals and amateurs alike.
